Rules

  1. All entries shall be of professional quality produced in India. Entrants must submit:
    1. One completed Entry Form.
    2. One DVD/VCD/ACD (as the case may be) copy compatible with video/audio format labeled with title and running time.
    3. One hard copy of completed script/lyric/content.
    4. A one hundred (100) word synopsis/treatment.
    5. Entry fee: DDs to be made out to: “G. E. S. Trust”
  1. The official entry form must be completed in its entirety or the entrant will be disqualified.
  1. Entry fees will not be returned if entrant is disqualified.
  1. Contest deadline is December 15, 2007. All entries must be postmarked by December 15, 2007. Entries postmarked after December 15, 2007 will be returned unopened.
  1. Entry fee is Rs 100.00 per every entry for a category and Rs 50/- for entry in each classification.
  1. Acknowledgement of each submission will be sent via email or ordinary postal mail.
  1. Once submission has been received, no alterations of the script can be made.
  1. Entrants must be 18 years or older to enter the contest. Misrepresentation of age will automatically disqualify the entry.
  1. Collaborative work is accepted. One of the partners should be selected as the primary contact.
  1. Entry must be the original, and unpublished, un-produced, un-optioned work of the entrant(s). The entrant(s) ensures that he or she (they) is (are) the sole author of the work and that it does not infringe on any existing copyright.
  1. NO ADAPTATIONS.
  1. All entrants shall retain the rights to their submitted script.
  1. Entries must be Biblically themed but do not have to be literal stories from the Bible. Entries must refer implicitly and/or explicitly to Biblical principles, values and virtues, and/or refer specifically to the Bible. Keep in mind is that the Bible is public domain and many stories and ideas relate to one or more common underlying themes.
  1. Entrants are prohibited from contacting the judges during the competition. Any entrant who attempts to contact a judge will be disqualified. A decision of the judges is final.
  1. The Galilean accepts no liability whatsoever for any claims of damages, real or perceived, by any entrant(s) as a result of their participation in this contest.
  1. Once entry fees are paid, fees will not be returned.
  1. All winners are responsible for their own travel arrangements. A day’s boarding/lodging will be provided.
  1. Entering the competition constitutes permission to use any entrant’s names and likenesses for publicity and promotions with no additional compensation. Galilean reserves the right to publicize and promote any and all progress, development and success of the entered scripts.
  1. Multiple entries are accepted, provided that each script is entered separately with all entry requirements stated in #1
